Our Student Council recently led an exciting whole-school competition to design a new school crest for Scoil Mhuire.
Every pupil was invited to create a design that would represent the wonderful things happening throughout our school. We wanted our new crest to reflect what makes Scoil Mhuire such a special place – our love of sport, learning, achievement, celebrating diversity and most importantly, learning and growing together.
The Student Council played an important role in the process. They carefully considered all of the entries and selected a number of finalists. The final designs were then shared with the whole school and every pupil had the opportunity to vote for their favourite.
We are delighted to announce that the winning design has now become our new school crest and is proudly featured on our school uniform!
Our new crest is a wonderful representation of our pupils, our achievements and our school community. It celebrates all the great things that happen in Scoil Mhuire and reminds us that we are a school where everyone belongs, everyone can achieve and we learn together.
A huge well done to all of our pupils who took part and a special congratulations to our winning designers! We are very proud of our new crest. 🌟
