The children from 3rd to 6th class participated in a School Olympic handball league with Ms. Flynn, Ms. O’Shea and Ms. Geraghty. Each Monday and Wednesday matches were played at lunchtime in the senior hall. Each team showed excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. There was some outstanding players and on a hot Friday in June the final of both the girls and boys team took place. The orange team played the green team in the boys final with the orange team winning by a last minute goal. Well done to all the boys who played on the day and throughout the league. The red team played the purple team in the final with the red team winning in the end. Thank you to all the girls who took part in the league and showed up each lunchtime for their team. A big thank you to the teachers for volunteering to coach the teams.
