Please take note of the following items of information:
1. Enrolments for Junior Infants 2019.
Any family who has a son/daughter for Junior Infants for September 2019 please collect an Enrolment Form from the secretary’s office.
2. Scoil Mhuire Mass for Deceased Members of our Community.
The 1.00 pm Mass in St Mary’s Church next Sunday, November 11th will be for deceased relatives and friends of the Scoil Mhuire Community. Each class will make lists of departed relatives and friends and they will be brought up to the altar by a 6th Class pupil on Sunday. If families are free next Sunday they are invited to attend Mass at 1.00 pm.
3. Homework Club.
There will be no Homework Club for three Thursdays in November starting next week, Thursday, 15th , Thursday, 22nd and Thursday, 29th as teachers will be attending courses after school for two of those Thursdays. The parent/teacher meetings are on Thursday, 29th. There will be no homework club on Thursday, December 6th also.
4. Parent/Teacher Meetings.
The annual Parent/Teacher Meetings will be held in the school on Thursday, November 29th starting at 1.50 pm. Teachers will be sending home appointment times in the next two weeks.
5. Christmas Concert Dates.
Please put the dates for the school Christmas Concerts in your diary. Tuesday, December 11th and Wednesday, December 12th. More details will follow closer to the time.
6. School Website.
All class/school activities are on the school website: www.scoilmhuirenavan.ie. Please log on for news of your child’s class.
7. Change of Phone No/Address.
Please inform the teacher/secretary if you have moved house or changed your phone number recently. It is very important that we have up to date information in the event that your child is sick or has an accident at school.
8. Scoil Mhuire Open Night.
Thank you to all families who attended our Open Night on October 16th. It was a great success.
