Girls' Basketball Final

Hard luck to the girls in the basketball final vs St Paul's Ratoath in Trim on Monday.

The girls played with great determination and, after two very close quarters, the game was in the balance at half time.

St Paul's pulled away in the third quarter with some great baskets. Scoil Mhuire finished the game strongly with a great '3 pointer' but it wasn't quite enough to win.

The girls were initially disappointed after the game but showed great respect to the victorious St Paul's team by clapping during the trophy presentation.

All twelve girls played on the day and proudly wore their silver medals on the bus on the way home.

Scoil Mhuire is very proud of the girls and how well they represented the school over the past few months.
