5th Class

Boys and girls from 5th and 6th class ran in the very well-organised Cross Country competition in Bellewstown Racecourse on Wednesday.

The boys started their Cumann na mBunscoil campaign today versus Árd Rí Community NS, losing 1-7 to 0-5. The boys from 4th, 5th and 6th class put in a great effort and played a massive part in an entertaining match.

On Wednesday, June 18th we went to the school hall to listen to classes 1st to 5th play the tin whistle for us.

Dr Caroline Gilleran Stephens and her team of scientists from Dundalk Institute of Technology visited 5th and 6th classes during the week.

The boys had two Gaelic football matches this week, one win and one loss. They were defeated by Gaelscoil an Bhradain Feasa, Mornington on Tuesday.

Parents, thank you for collecting your children. HSE Doctors will speak to Parents at 12 noon and/or at 2pm in the Senior School Hall to inform them of the next steps to take with their children. PLEASE ATTEND either talk. Thank you.

Congratulations to the Scoil Mhuire boys and girls on both their victories over Rathmore in the school today. The teams were made up of pupils from both 5th and 6th class.
