6th class completed lots of fun activities during World Book Day.
One of their activities was matching the front covers of books with blurbs. There was lots of debating on which book covers matched the blurbs. Lots of interesting discussion took place where the children has to justify their reasons and ideas.
The children also researched some authors like Lewis Carroll, Enid Blyton, Michael Morpourgo, Roald Dahl, Anthony Horowitz and Jacqueline Wilson. They also completed an alphabet book challenge, had a speed book wordsearch and helped run the senior school World Book Day Quiz.
Everyone had lots of fun taking part.
