Welcome to Scoil Mhuire Navan's website

Welcome to Scoil Mhuire Navan’s new website. On behalf of the school community I’d like to thank you for visiting our website. Situated in the heart of Navan town Scoil Mhuire has been open on it’s current site for more than fifty years. With a large staff to cater for the needs of our pupils we endeavor to help each child reach their full potential. As well as our mainstream school the first special unit for children with Autism in Ireland was opened here in 1999 and now it comprises of two classes with two teachers and six classroom assistants.

Scoil Mhuire welcomes pupils from all over the world and we currently have 29 nationalities attending here. Together with the local Navan children and children from the Travelling Community, it is a mix that works. An atmosphere of mutual respect for all hermeates throughout our school.

Scoil Mhuire is a Catholic school under the guidance of the Patron Dr. Michael Smith, Bishop of Meath. Christian values are promoted and the ethos of the school is Catholic. We have an active Parent’s Association and together with the Board of Management and HSCL teacher, the participation of parents in the running of the school is encouraged and promoted.

School Principal,

Colm Devlin
